Noooooooo How nice has it been not seeing him playin for us, jeez i'd even forgotten the idiot even existed
You probably were going over the top with your false modesty but in reality Stoke has been dreadful in the last few weeks and Hughes proving that his early success as a manager has not led to an improvement in his skills. I would be most disappointed if we don't win by at Ieast 2-0. Stoke have played the sort of game that suits us. The loss of Mane is a major blow but if we are part of the top 4 elite then we have to be able to beat teams like Stoke (with all due respect)
Got a terrible feeling to be honest Haven't read much on here since Wednesday - that one was a tough one to take! But I get the impression even going 2 up we'll be nervous and draw 2-2, the anxiety is awful and exactly what Klopp has told us day one they need to get over. The term 'must win game' is tedious for me, but this one truly is that
Dreadful news that Coutinho could be out for this game. Klopp is right in that we now have to grind out this win.
Clearly we can't play 433 without Mane so we have to change things. Coutinho missing is another big loss so we have to bring in Sturridge.
Sturridge doesn't work with Klopps normal system but we have so many players out I would expect a different formation to ensure we get the best out of him. I know it's frustrating but the guy can score a **** load of goals if he can play on the shoulder and isn't expected to be the first guy pressing
1. If coutinho is out he is a joke. He needs to man up. Nobody is talking about him being main man on his massive wages but they are talking about mane so Coutinho needs to recapture his form pre injury but also has trto o get on pitch end of. 2. This is away game.. lfc will be pussies away and that just a fact. Basically my message is nows the time to stand up and be counted or to be judged inadequate . Theres no room of little niggles keeping players out or excuses. You get 4th by matching city and utd and arsenal or you fail... simple as.
Just a point. If we drew v everton and won v bournemouth i doubt anyone would be crying right now. Utd drew v everton and drew with west brom. City drew v arsenal and lost to chelsea Arsenal drew to city and beat west ham. Like.. weve not actually lost ground on a sinfle actual rival have we...
I think it is more the disappointment, ours is a recurring issue. Tbf I don't really think people are being negative. The remaining fixtures will be way tougher for us than the so called tougher games in the league. The pessimism is a result of a perpetuating loop of results. I don't believe that Klopp is not aware of the issue, however, trying to figure out what is being done about it is tough. Stoke will get something out of today's game, doesn't matter how bad they are we will endure a frustrating afternoon (also Stoke turn up for the big games like we do). The negativity is just frustration because better results in these type of games and we would not only be challenging for the top four but the title.
If we play Sturridge - we can't play him out wide, he has to be central. If he is central, then we lose out on the high press which means he has to be in a two with Origi. I think Klopp needs to go all out and take some risks. The 433 system does not work without Mane.
Coutinho has joined up with Liverpool at team hotel this morning ahead of stoke game. Late decision on involvement
