I was quite surprised by Soton. The speed of their transitions / counters was really impressive. Went through us a number of times.

We had a tricky run of fixtures of Spurs, Soton and Chelsea.

2 down ... I’m expecting us to turn Chelsea over as well.

Depends on which Chelsea turns up and if we can keep Hazard quiet, difficult game on paper and one where the desire will be the difference.

Ermmmmm.. they had long who can run but is **** and Redmond who can run.

It's not shock to me they attacked most down Redmond side nor is it a shcok they walked through our midfield given how we played.

They have 33 points and are in huge trouble now. They really should have 36 and be safe but they stopped playing.

Chelsea are at Anfield. I reckon that will swing it if we show the level needed.

Henderson showed the difference between wanting it and willing to work and what windy did

I really would like klopp to flip the midfield from a 1-2 to a 2-1. Think we get more out of it.

We really need to give Gini a rest. He’s been off the boil for a while now.

I'm almost certain that Porto team will have him.

It's probable your favourite midfield 3 will play. Aka no fabinho... two of them came on last night so are certainly favourites to start. Windy is his retain the ball by not passing it and turning 5 times round option.

Don't agree with that at all, we wore them down it wasn't that they stopped playing. Hendo and Milner made a difference as well physically and the game changed, we changed it not them.

Yes but last night was hilarious as fabinho at times tried to chase up doing the 1s job too <laugh>

Highlights are on at 11:30 on sky.

To flip to double 6 he needs an all action no 8 to join the front 3 in the press.

Right now that's not Keita. It'd have to be Milner and lallana as one starts one is sub after 55mins.

If klopp flipped it the full backs would have a bit more cover.

That's second half mate... I know what you are say I g about them tiring but the 100% changed formation and tactics after 35mins. They sat right off and left long up on his own. Redmond was going all game so he wasn't tired after 35mins sitting deep.

They stopped playing first half when thry could have taken game away from us. They should've had 2 or 3 but they let us back in.

I said so in first half.

Once long went off though... they were gone. Yes milner and grnderson added much needed desire. But the game bad changed from us looking like we could implode in first half to us drawing at ht

2 goals from midfield last night. That’s a welcome change. Good to see midfielders getting into the box - on the flip side, we were exposed more...

    In fairness to ref....

    A) it was home town call
    B) Keita had kicked ball away
    C) Keita did leave a leg out to be caught, something refs look for
    D) yoshida looked like he was pulling out of it
    E) he prob heard that salah was marginally off in first half at ht.

So imo from refs angle he decided there wasn't real contact and so wasn't included to incur the wrath of the crowd.

I don't think it's a stonewaller personally. Seen so given though

Milner will start. Klopp does everything to get him into big games he can.

I reckon Milner and windy will start.

It's not beyond the bounds that taa would be bench

Nothing surprises me anymore! Apart from Hendo playing well :)

Separately, our team fight to the very end. I love it:

20 goals in the final 15 minutes of games this season, more than any other PL side.

16 points from losing positions, more than any other PL side.

Hazard will relish the space we leave in midfield. He’s a major threat to our league hopes. Keep him quiet and we win.
