I think this has been bandied about for quite a while now.
Just wait until the media lose their crush on Southgate after a few mediocre results.

Since Lovren is out i assume Matip will start so we better hope Robbo fit as i don't fancy our chances of keeping them out with M&M.

We’ll start with Bournemouth, who will now be without midfielder Lewis Cook for up nine months, after he ruptured his anterior cruciate ligament during Tuesday night’s win over Huddersfield Town. Essentially, he’s out for the season now.

Fellow midfielder Dan Gosling is also dealing with a knee injury, although one that is much less severe. After missing the Cherries last two games he is a doubt for this one.

Didn't realise Lovren was out - anyone know why or for how long? Matip is very much 4th choice so we're down to bare bones in that department at one of the busiest times of the season. The loss of Gomez is huge I'm afraid.

Klopp will want his strongest team out for Napoli - so i'm guessing that Klopp will keep rotating. This will give Bournemouth a real chance.

With Utd already qualified and able to rest players for their CL match, the next 3 games for me is season defining.

Lovren is still suffering from concussion

I suspect that had Lovren not been injured we would be resting Van Dijk too, but we have no choice. We play Napoli and then Utd.

<ok>. At least he'll not be out for long. Can't believe that I'm glad that he'll be back in the tea soon <laugh>

Doesn't look like vvd will get a rest anytime soon - we could have really done with a more favourable fa cup 3rd round draw!

Lets just take it a game at a time, if we can get 3 points then mentally we go into the Napoli game on a high.

lovren = head injury on training.

    might be concussion

don't worry we have nat Phillips;)

My view is Keita and Milner won't start this game. Klopp will manage them. it's annoying but over the medium and long term for keita it's the tight call. we need him tuesday.

I think we have rested up top now and I can't see salah or firmino miss any of the Napoli or Utd games. so... 60mins?

team for Napoli game is obvious. mane will be back

Win and we go top. That's what we need to focus on. City will know our result before they play seeing as Pep always asks the media. Chavs surely can't be that sh!t again

    rewatched burnely.game highlights.

    a) free kicks. what we do in defense is hold.line. that's all. if sides put it in they are all off cos they start off.. we see this every week. we took our free for goal short and one burnely player dropped in playing all onside when we actually put it in.

    clever.

    b) ref. I even saw one occasion where Matip saw a ball out and when it was gone woods pulled him over slyly. it could have hurt met up I suppose. All matip did was look and the guy then went what to the ref and the ref ignored wood and lectured Matip. it was a scandalously poor reffing performance. foul after foul unpunished.

    c) dyche on sturridge. my god it's such an obvious free. it's actaully a yellow in any European game and most top half prem games. sturridge does go down.... why.. cos the ref was so bad it was only way to not lose ball as the pull meant ball was going to run away.

dyche can go **** himself. he s clearly lost the plot and is under pressure so he's gone more and more negative.

    d) Keita v Henderson. you only need watch 5 minutes to see the difference between the two. Keita knows his next pass, he s seen the options before he gets ball. there was one move in first half that he just made a simple lay off one two that looks so easy but you know it only is cos he is clued in.

you can see Henderson a mentality that he s picked the safe pass and when he gets it and has his 2 touches he s never even considered changing his mind even when simple positive passes are available.

anyway..... it's clear to me that some time.some side is going to catch us rotten on a free by having forwards all stand offside but have real runners off a free 2 yards on and deliver to them.

I can't believe sides have not cottoned onto how simple it would be to simply not move themselves and have deeper runners come in and score. yeah you are off as forwards but not interfering.

    You wouldnt know.

this is the real sharp end. Chelsea can breeze by 14 or 15 of the prem sides same as the rest of us but these games between the tip expose the issues.

I suspect we might put a scratch team out for the cup, and just keep a few big guns on the bench.
