I was a tad pissed last night\

 

Perhaps Keane has just realised what he was doing wrong in management. We restricted a ‘form team’ to a couple of chances whilst playing a high line. In one of those chances Allison saved - which in Klopp’s words ‘is why we have a keeper’.

To label it sloppy ‘at times’ instead of waxing lyrical about the performance speaks volumes about Roy Keane - Imagine if you played for him and he came out with something like that after a great performance.

 

Absolutely fuming when I saw that. I hope the lads give him a ****ing good telling off for that in the dressing room, unacceptable.

Genuinely pissed off he done that.

 

Well Jota had spurned a much better chance that Salah created earlier. It was one of those where the players are too close to each other and thus confusion ensued.

 

Klopp heard what he said and countered it with facts, that's not sensitivity, it's strength of character. If Keane thinks that's sensitivity then he was admitting to being sensitive himself because he has repeatedly shown that he can't take any criticism whatsoever.

 

I dont see what Jota misiing the target by inches has to do with mo running on to what was clearly jotas ball.

Tge confused look on jotas face and the fact gini tried to explain it off to him should tell you all you need to know.

Salah was massively in the wrong on that. imo at least.

 

Salah had a great game and wanted a goal. He can be selfish, but his contributions to the team far outweigh that

Arsenal struggled with a press lacking Henderson. They are really lucky he was injured. It could have been a mauling.

I have come to notice that when your team is successful, rival fans will blame corrupt officials. I never really understood why I thought Ferguson owned the refs until we became relevant from a league perspective. Happy for them to fume over that Mane incident

when we get past 70 mins and slaah has not scored all bets are off. Mane doesn't like it either but knows the score. Salah has it in his head he HAS to score esp. at anfield. Jota needs to learn to get his goals in early as salah turns off his assist mode as the time starts ticking down.

Theres not a player in red that didn't think that was par for course with Mo last night bar poor jota.

 

Bobby's assist mode is on all the time. I'd like him and Salah to take a bit off each other with Bobby being a bit more selfish and Salah being a bit less selfish 'in the right moment' (to quote Klopp).

In fairness to Salah he did wreak havoc down that right hand side and had hoped to get in on the action.

Looking back he did a lot more right during the match, and the blip that was the opportunist moment(greedy bas***) with jota

Think Alisson was the unsung hero with coming out several times to clear his lines.

Credit to Arsenal, they did try something new against us that worked sometimes, playing to the corner flags in their own half whilst playing out from the back.

Watch them get smashed against another team trying that.

 

Mane is pretty much the same when he’s in shooting distance. Salah is possibly in that position a tad more so he seems more selfish. Last night, Salah got a bit carried away with himself with the Jota incident. It pissed me off at the time but I get it. You can’t take it out of those players or you’d be left with half of the player.

 

That's certainly taking it out the player...

 

Boomerang didn't get a look in last night,thought we played the high pressing very well,good all round play.

 

We were about half an hour in before I realised he was playing.

 

He was very quiet. We were particularly strong down the right last night to be fair.
