    No Joel Matip or Thiago in Liverpool training. Unlikely to feature against Ajax tomorrow. Club are being cautious given the hectic schedule.

    Henderson , Wijnaldum , Jones as MF ? - i assume Keita not available yet .
    i did wonder if 1 of TAA or Robertson would be rested but doubt it now .

    Klopp won't do this but I'd switch to 4231; Hendo and Wijnaldum offering protection to a CB pairing of Fabinho and Gomez. Allows Trent & Robbo to stick to their roles. Drop Firmino into AM and bring Jota in.

    It would not surprise me to see one of the full backs rested. Possibly Robbo. Losing one of those two to injury now that we have lost VvD would be devastating. Wrap em up in cotton wool, stay in the game until the window opens.
