    HATEM BEN Arfa has been nominated for the Puskas Award by FIFA for his fabulous solo goal against Blackburn Rovers.

    The Frenchman is in with a shout of picking up the prestigious award after being listed in the top 10 goals scored in the last 12 months.

    Ben Arfa’s name is proudly sitting alongside greats like Falcao, Lionel Messi and Neymar and his strike is in with a genuine shout of winning the prize.

    That Mealla goal was ridiculous, no doubt Lionel "golden child" Messi will win though.

    Sure Cisse might be a bit baffled how he hasn't made the list too, that goal was better than half of that lot on there.

    I assume its more the type of goal. Thats why Benni should win because he has a bit of Puskas about him.......................

    Still about half of the goals on there are the same "type of goal" as cisse's (volleys/shots from outside the area)- but nowhere near as good - so it's just really strange he didn't make the shortlist. Maybe they had a "one per team" rule.

    I understand FIFA have introduced a different award "The Best Papiss Cisse Goal Award" due to producing his very own collection of beauties. They're ****ed for this season so far mind <laugh>

    Matty Burrow (from NI league) should have won last year but they gave it to Altintop... It'll be given to a big name as per <ok>
