Think back a few months. Vince Cable had, as part of his ministerial brief, to handle the bid by the Murdoch empire to buy up the rest of BSkyB. He said, to put it mildly, that he could forsee problems and he would urge caution. Cameron told him to shut up, took the responsibility away from Cable and handed it to Jeremy Hunt. The Conservatives ostracised him, his colleagues looked away, and barely a peep was heard from Labour. I wouldn't blame him if he danced naked on the table at the next cabinet meeting and shouted, " I BLOODY TOLD YOU SO !"
