Im still a bit worried about the gaps we have in midfield. I only we had a strong, quick holding CM.

ST holders but, me and my son are taking in our first away game of the season (I know, shame on us). Haven't been to Villa before but booked tickets before the Sunderland game so, starting to get a bit optimistic. Any suggestions for a good place to park or should we just head for one of the official car parks?

    Cheers

There are plenty of unofficial car parks on the road into Villa Park, all charging about a fiver per car. I went up last year and chose one within sight of the ground. No problems.

Thanks for this Goldhawk; I asked this on a separate thread and got a lot of humourous answers, which was all good and well.

I'll take your practical advice and pay my fiver to get as close as I can.

Had a dream last night that we won 2-1 but I didn't get there in time as I couldn't remember where I'd parked my car after dropping the kids off! :)

Have only ever driven before. Going on train this time. There is a park next to the ground - we park the other side of the park. It is always easy to get in and out of from the motorway.
