Goes to Spurs. Not a shock but a bit of a gamble after his tenure at Chelsea. Lots of big personalities at Spurs as well. How will he do?

I really like AVB, thought he was given a very hard task at Chelsea with Overlord Abramovic.

Nowhere near the same size of ego at spurs. He has proven he is a good coach before and I'm sure he'll do well.

Just didn't fit in at Chelsea and lost the dressing room. Probably do better at Spurs.

Spurs and foreign managers haven't worked so far. Villas Boas didn't do himself any favours at Chelsea and personally I don't think he'll last. He seems the sort of manager who likes to change the status quo and being the opposite of Redknapp, I can see some personality clashes.

Good luck to him. He was on a hiding to nothing at Chelsea.

Di Matteo didn't have that pressure as he was acting as caretaker and had obviously played for Chelsea and was a success with them.

bit harsh saying he did himself no favours. I recall reading early in his career there that he'd been asked to shift out the old guard/ If true, seems he tried and then never got the backing from the top. We don't really know what happened there.

I think he will do well. Interesting to see who finishes higher out of Spurs and Chelsea.

I believe he's let Chelsea off something like £9m pay off to take the Spurs job, that in its self deserves a bit of credit.

Good luck to him. He might need it - Daniel Levy seems to go through managers just as fast as Roman Abramovitch does.

Let's see who gets sacked this season. I wonder if he will find himself fighting relegation...

I heard Dubai, although how he'll commute there from Sandbanks is anybody's guess...

Horrible man and manager,I hope he gets sacked asap...

I use to like him when he was at Porto, but he turned out to be an ****er...Blaming refs for his team losing, losing the dressing room, not picking his best players, playing like Barca (high defensive line) and he was just an idiot,it's such a shame that he will be working in England again, such a shame I can't stand him anymore and if I see him on TV I'll just turn it off or turn over.

Thank god our manager is not like him.

Nah, AFC Bournemouth. He should just about suit the owner there. Plus, he'd still be able to walk the dog every morning.
