He's not signing a new contract with Barcelona, should we be worried that they might go for De Gea, i hope they don't, they can sign another keeper
Valdes is one of the luckiest people in football. He's really not very good but has won a shedload because he's played behind an awesome team for most of his career. I never understood why Reina was third choice Spain keeper when he was at his best for Liverpool as he was a far better keeper than Valdes.
I think Stekelenburg will be more of a threat to De Gea's place at United than Valdes, Fergie had an eye on him before he bought De Gea and now he's rumored to be leaving Roma soon because of a falling out, Barcelona are also interested in him along with a few other clubs.
But then it's whether or not De Gea wants to leave Manchester, or we want to sell him. As far as I'm aware he likes it here and wants to be a part of our club. The only reason he'd go is if he forces his way out or Fergie believes that are better options readily available.
