...what say yous ? Arsenal will listen to offers this summer for England midfielder Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, 22, as it is thought he has not made enough progress during his five seasons at the Emirates. (London Evening Standard)
His wages are £65k+ a week and will cost well over £20M with the English tax - he hasn't had one injury free season as well. Would prefer we went after the likes of Musa.
Depends on how we end the season tbh, if we finish in the champions league, then we have 2 options... Look at "experinced" champions league players and risk sending the average wage sky high, or bring in players that Walshy thinks are good enough for champions league football at a decent wage we are more likely to afford. Like others have said, think the ox will suffer from having an englishmans increase on his price and wages. Id probably avoid for that reason as i dont think big contracts will be sustainable for us in the long run.
Don't want any Arsenal's rejects! If they are not good enough for them, they are certainly not good enough for us!
