The first 20 minutes were very good, but then it went down hill! Why play SWP on the left? Why play Bothroyd up front, when he's better as an attacking midfielder? Why play back to the defence when losing? A very frustrating game, but not a disaster. Mackie MOM for me.
Why play Bothroyd at all? Macheda looked far sharper and more up for it in his ten mins on the pitch.
Thought Both was cack today, does'nt seem to have any desire and no change of pace. macheda looked much better, at least he appeared willing to put himself about a bit.
billhooks to all this "we'll be alright" rubbish. I didn't see anything differently today under mark Hughes than under Neil warnock. we can't score for nuts! if jay bothroyd offered to play for free I still wouldn't have him. give DJ a run now!
The only good thing to come out of today is that none of the players that should be 'culled' did anything to avoid a good 'clubbing'...
Why play SWP at all? Can't cross, won't take on a defender, waste of space. He might be all right next year in the Championship.
sparky needs to get his skates on if he is going to get qpr out of the relegation battle you are in thats for sure, can he do it?? Im on the fence on this as im not sure he can.....good luck anyway
I wouldn't slate him that easily - he did have that one flash of skill on the left, duked the ball and hit the curler that shaved the post. Problem with Bothroyd is that he always finds space, but..... he has a keen sense of open-play, so they punt the ball to him.... he starts his move, BUT then he has nobody to pass to as nobody makes moves up with him in support fast enough, so he drifts and then he has nowhere to go and that's the end of our attack. He just needs support.
