Not sure if the new Coach/Manager will be in charge tomorrow......and I assume Luke Cundle will not be in the team....to stop him becoming Cup-tied.

Dewsnip said he had spoken to Wolves who replied they had not had any offers and that Cundle would be available to play tomorrow. Not heard that has changed.

So that is encouraging that he is available.....but a long few weeks to the end of the window for someone to be interested in him....lets hope we keep him.....because he'll surely get more playing time now that Azaz is gone.

Well he hasn't played enough to draw the same sort of attention as Azaz and Whittaker. But when he does play he impresses me. A bundle of energy box to box, very direct going forward and tidy on the ball.

    Plymouth A...3-1...Sutton.

    Cundle...18mins.....Hardie...68mins (pen).....Whittaker...90+1mins.

    Angol...50mins.

Bit of an ordeal by the sounds of it...but they won in the end.

Yes not particularly convincing from the radio commentary particularly in the second half. But we're in the draw.....

Not very convincing watching it either so the radio didn't get it wrong. Basically we were rubbish. It was a poor match and we made Sutton look a lot better than they were. A big side who played to their strengths. i.e the long high ball and crosses into the box. We huffed and puffed without creating much at all and couldn't find a green shirt a good deal of the time. The stats will show a healthy return but they don't particularly tell the story. A match best forgotten. We won and that is all that matters in the end. I did think that considering it was the new man's first game that there would be a clamour to impress. To be honest I thought our players almost to a man didn't look that interested. Whittaker was disappointing today and Mumba was even more so.

Very wise BC. I wish I hadn't to be honest although my son bought me the ticket so at least I didn't have to pay and suffer as well.

To be fair to Foster, he'll have had something between little to no influence on this game.

No blame on Foster he hasn't been here 5 minutes yet. The players, who should have been trying to impress him, came up woefully short today. Comfortable win in some ways and as per score sheet but far from impressive.

But BC.....7am isn't early it's quite a normal time for most people.....I've nearly been retired 20 yrs....and I would still see 7am as a lay-in......and I normally go to bed between midnight and 1am.

I just read Foster’s post match comments. He’s restrained in what he says but I definitely get the impression he wasn’t bowled over by it either. He mentions giving the ball away too easily at times and I think that’s been an ongoing issue.

There are times when it’s right to go for the killer pass and others when the simple ball is best. Equally, when in a good position go for it, don’t always be looking to embroider it with one more touch or one more pass when leathering it into the penalty box is the right option. Bali Mumba, I mean you.

This isn’t a matter of inherent quality it’s a matter of judgement which can be taught. Over to you Mr. Foster.
