If the prediction thread is anything to go by we have pee'd this. Well so say the green contingent anyway. So several newbies on the bus but don't expect them to feature in starting line up. They look like reasonable prospects though so time will tell. As for this one we could win it if we turn up.

Great start again. This could be another embarrassment.

1 - 1 now. Argyle appear to have improved from their shaky start. They don't fill you with confidence though do they.

So eventually down to nine men and still hung on for a point. Think they deserve a pint after that. Happy with the point today.

Well if we had the full team we would easily have won that we started to get on top once they scored and then back in it, but a hard fought point, hazard was great.. Freddy was a yellow ithink, should appeal that one , it was not a great challenge but not malicious

    move on..

That’s an heroic performance without a shadow of a doubt, from the team and the Green Army who made it sound like a home game. I kid you not.

    However.

There has to be an however. We HAVE to learn to neutralise the first 15 minutes of away games. From the kick-off, the ball was played back to Hazard who hoofed it aimlessly, giving the ball to QPR. Within 3 minutes, we were 1-0 down and under the cosh.

After weathering a 15 or 20 minute storm, we became the better side for significant periods of the game.

Forshaw made 3 unsuccessful attempts to pull a QPR player back. Now one pull wouldn’t have been a card but a lecture. Does 3 minor pulls in the same incident make it a yellow? I don’t think so. Forshaw should then have known better than to dive into a tackle out on the touchline and that was an unarguable card so he was off.

Whittaker cut in from the right and played a terrible pass into the box. The defender he played it to fumbled the ball however, into the path of the still advancing Whittaker who launched a unstoppable missile to make it 1-1.

Against a better side, we’d have lost this without doubt but nevertheless we battled it out to the end.

Chasing down a long clearance at high speed, Isska made an inexperienced challenge on the last defender and was rightly sent off

Now then. The referee. An absolute disgrace. I’d dispute Forshaw’s first yellow and we should have had a nailed on penalty when Szuc’s shirt was pulled when he had a chance of a header on goal. Admittedly, it wasn’t much of pull but Szuc had already jumped for the header and with no feet on the ground, it had a significant effect, denying us a goal scoring opportunity. I gather they’ve fiddled with the rule on this but I don’t care: it was a nailed-on penalty. But worse, every minor indiscretion by an Argyle player was a free-kick whereas QPR got away with the same thing time after time. Not fit to referee a kick around in a park.

    Oh PS.

Unusually, I watched on to the managers’ comments. I felt sure Wayne Rooney would launch into a Scouse tirade about the abysmal refereeing of this game.

He confined his comments to “I was a bit disappointed with some of the decisions”.

They say a diplomat is someone sent abroad to lie for his country, don’t they?

A bit disappointed Wayne? I should ****ing coco.

The match stats show that we only had one shot on target and only six other shots.

Only one corner to their eleven.

There keeper had no shots to save other than our goal......whilst Hazard made nine saves.

Of course playing with 10 men for an hour might have some bearing on that.

Issaka's sending off was fractional....a split second the other way and the QPR player hopefully would have got the red card.....a yellow would have been more appropriate .
