Has anybody seen how hes performed yet pre season? He was prolific last season but im slightly concerned he hasnt found the net yet for us. Can somebody reassure me please?
Seems to be putting it about. I'm not bothered pre season. I can see this season the goals being spread around 7/8 players although I believe you need someone to knock in 20+ to get into top 2.
Not seen any of pre season but I gather that he's been putting himself about, making runs and taking shots just not ones that have been good enough to beat the keeper. Sounds like he'll be busy and create space and chances but not the most clinical.
Not overly worried as I'm not expecting him to be our number 1 striker for the season. Expecting that to be either McCormack or Hugill (who I know sod all about).
Apparently his work rate has been outstanding. Just snatching at his chances a bit, common for new strikers trying to get their first goal. Not worried.
We won't get Hugill mate. We can forget that one, Grayson priced us out of the move when he was at PNE, after Murphy moved to the Mags for 5 million Grayson said Hugill is worth at least 6m. Now PNE are holding him to that.
Think he'll be back up to Grabban tbh. I'm still not convinced that our outgoings are done yet. Just hoping Grayson's standing up to the board and insisting on keeping every player on the books. I'll be happier when the window is closed and they're all still here.
