    Hi all...

Ages since i've posted on here as I moved to Australia 2 weeks ago & just got the net.

I've watched matches at bars over here and I was wondering...

    Vaughan or Garnder with catts?

My view is that I would go for Gardner. Vaughan has been decent, however goes missing in games. Gardner likes to attack more, and I just prefer him.

    Who would you prefer?

Both excellent in my opinion each with their own individual qualities. However for me, Vaughan just shades it.His work rate and closing down is phenomenal

Have to agree with this - I think the way we play that either could easily fit in next to Cattermole and, as much as I like Gardner getting forward, Vaughan never stops running.

I think Bruce signed 2 very good players in these 2 and hope we can keep them both at the club (shouldn't be a problem with Vaughan but Gardner is a different story) and if either of them line up in the first team week in week out then I would be happy - isn't it great to say that!!

I know the answer but why should I do O'Neills job for him, let him earn his wages and decide.

Vaughan for me, its no surprise he starts every game under MON, he compliments Catts so well in the middle and keeps the play ticking over.
Im sure he was fans player of the year for Blackpool last year and from what ive seen i can understand why, he is the sort of player who allows the rest of the team shine.

Have to agree with the majority here. Vaughan for me too. Not only does he keep things ticking over, the majority of his passes are forward which is a great skill to have. Gardner's finishing is a different league to many at the club but Vaughany is the man I'd have every week.

Posh Spice is a slapper, a slapper she was born and when she's shagging Beckham, she thinks of David Vaughan!!!!

I think you have to add Larrson to the mix here too as Gardner can play on the right too. He's not bad at free kicks either However can't change a winning team for me so if you have the shirt already......that said gardner will be involved in every game as both vaughan and larrson run out of steam for me. I'd like to see Meyler being used from the bench more too, unless Mon see's him as Catt's replacement.

Its Vaughan's place to lose. He has been terrific since he got a run in the side. I love Gardner too he is top draw. Were blessed in the middle of the park. Catts and Vaughan get injured or suspended, bring in Meyler and Gardner. How many teams have got an option like that.
