I come in peace! As mentioned on our board, What price do you think the club would ask for Patrick Van Aanholt? Obviously, Enrique is a hot favourite to leave St James this window (Nooo!!!!) and we would require a replacement. Id love to see Van Aanholt return to NUFC and play regularly. I cant see Chelsea using him as an Ashley Cole replacment, I can imagine them bringing in a decent (expensive) replacement......not that Cole is in danger of losing his place anytime soon.
We won't be selling PVA any time in the near future and we certainly won't be bringing in an expensive left back either. In fact we are likely to sell Zhirkov as PVA and Bertrand are both good enough to replace Cole when he goes. There may be loan deals to be had, but we would be mad to sell either of those two.
