In "The Game", The Times football supplement, on Monday, they had nearly two pages analysing season ticket prices for all the Premiership clubs. Compared to the most expensive tickets of all the other clubs, QPR's platinum tickets were the fourth most expensive, behind Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham. For the cheapest tickets available, only two clubs had more expensive tickets (Liverpool and Chelsea). My gold ticket went up from a fraction over £500 to £750. In the same supplement, seven of their football writers gave their predictions of champions, top four, player to watch, relegated teams etc. Six out of the seven said QPR would go down. Tony Cascarino summed it up, "QPR have not been busy enough in the window". Come Saturday, I will stop moaning and support our team and our manager 100%. But I hope our players are more confident than I am. We still have glaring weaknesses in our squad: cover at FB, cover at CB (I exclude Peroni who NW said was not ready yet), cover at defensive midfield. And anyone joining us now has missed the benefit of training with us pre-season (like Hulse did).
Good article Rodders. Ticket prices are a disgrace. I only get over the odd time so its you boys that have to bare the brunt of this cost and I feel for y'all. As for the squad, I'm praying I'll be proved wrong.
