Must admit, I did wonder about the game when I heard Swindon was called off earlier but to call the game off at 3.15pm has got to be unprecedented. I feel for the Watford fans who made the trip, I would be livid if it was the other way round, obviously the ref's call...

No doubt to some, this will be the managers fault as well still, will give us a chance to get some new players in for the rearrangement...

Its not even ****ing raining now that's whats pissed me off. No reason to call the game off, The players get paid enough money had it been delayed a further 15 minutes the game would of went ahead. JOKE

They said on the radio it was monsoon of a storm at about 2.45 as both managers and the refs were inpecting the pitch.....
Kick off delayed till 3.15 after another pitch inspection, then the ref called it of as being too dangerous to play on.

I don't care about the covers, nothing was going to protect it, the rain came in 1 hour prior to kick off and there was no where for the water to go.
If they put a tent up the amount of rain would not of got down the drains and that river running alongside the pitch would of just got worse making it unsafe for spectators.
People can carry on as much as they like the game was called off because the ground was unsafe! When I got back to Wicks car park I had to leave my wife and daughter at the entrance due to a **** off puddle to wade through, that was there when there was nothing 40 minutes earlier.

exactly, its all about health and safety. A fan falls to the floor and drowns and then the ground gets closed down for a month or more, whilst they review safety measures and there is an inquest etc.
