A lot has been said about SAF not utilising the likes of Pogba or Morrison enough, hence contributing their desire to leave For me its been strange not seeing these youngsters have an increased role over the season, its not the SAF way imo Watching UTD today against Bolton I noticed Pogba made the bench ans scholes was a starter and a thought occurred to me and I wonder what you guys think. In the first half we were all over Bolton and should have been at least 3 up. IMO this would have seen Pogba play today. However this didnt happen and despite having possession and shots on target we didnt put the ball in the net. Rooney seems to be going through his 'patch' again and missed some sitters, including a penalty. Anyway the end result was that due to the late nature of the goals to put the tie to bed Pogba didnt get a game, IMO THIS is the reason for the youngsters not getting game time. The exit from the league cup made it impossible to use a different route to test their resolve. Losses against the likes of Blackburn and the nature of the win against City in the cup has SAF in a quandry. He maybe just doesnt 'trust' the team enough to bury the opposition and risk a youngster playing, even making a mistake and having the confidence knocked out of them thoughts?
They should have a look at the likes of Cleverley and Welbeck. Both had gradual exposure to the first team then went on a loan and did well and have continued doing well in the first team. I'm sure SAF would have liked to have had more time in the Carling Cup but for me, he has never been one at chucking youngsters in at the deep end giving them something to lose, especially not the youngsters through the academy. I think people look at the likes of Arsenal and how they more or less had to play the likes of Wilshere and Ramsey as first team players at 18 or 19 purely because of necessity and their talents and development because of/in spite of their exposure at an early age. You could look some of the Blackburn kids, Phil Jones being of them as another example. But we have never had the need to thrust our youth on the biggest stage immediately.
Took a number of seasons for Wellbeck to be a regular first team player. If these guys know better than SAF then good luck to them elsewhere.

If SAF thinks the players are ready for the first team and the timing is right, ie winning a game comfortably with about ten mins to go, he will put them in the team/game. When the Fledglings broke through to the first team, it was a gradual thing, and Fergie clearly thought they were ready to be played. Beckham was sent out on loan to gain experience, maybe that is the route they will/should go, plus they are both 18/19, they time on their sides.
They'll get games in the Europa League IMO. If were up 3-0 when Scholes was subbed off, I bet Pogba would have come on.
Speaking of Scholes. He was 20 when first handed a squad number I believe so Morrison and Pogba should stay calm imo. No top club is going to let an untested 18 year old walk into their first team unless he is a footballing god. They should have faith in SAF and let him develop them at his own pace, when he thinks their ready they'll get a chance.
I have a feeling that neither of them has the right mentality to play for United. If that's the case then they should both be sold.
I think all the buzz with Pogba is just the media, where as Man Utd has confirmed Morrison is being a twat.
pogba an d morrisson are not anywhere ear good enough for united yet. I have watched them ofr a few seasons and they are way off the 1st team
Well IMO if Welbeck can stay fit and progresses the way he has the last two years, he will be World Class in 5 years.
You are right and if Morrison thinks he can force the club to pay him inflated wages at his age then he can think again. If he refuses to back down from his wage demands, hopefully the club will get rid.
This is true, and Hernandez is apparently now on around £60k a week, so Welbeck has arguably earned the same based on his performances this season.
That's exactly my point. He has an amazing all around game. He's extremely quick and almost Henry like with the ball at his feet. He links up well with the rest of the team. He's a pretty big lad. He's got a good shot from range. His finishing can be better but he's only just turned 21, so he's got time to develop. He does seem to be a bit injury prone, but hopefully some of it is growth related. The most important thing he has is a manager who believes in him, which will give him confidence.
TBH i always thought welbeck was the better prospect, macheda just didnt seem to be all that for me welbeck has amazing work rate aswell, If rooney could get his act together I think him and welbeck would be an awesome partnership
