I am thinking of buying a ticket for Wembley from an Irish company called Icon Sports travel (link was from another thread). Can anyone tell me if they are legit, they have told me I will receive the ticket by email. This is what they have said. The match ticket is an electronic ticket with a bar code. You will need to print the eticket and hand it in to the Club Level entrance. The bar code is then scanned by attendant so it is quite simple really and no worries about postal delay of the ticket. Is this okay ?????? Please help, I need a ticket....
I didn't know Sunderland use a similar system http://www.safc.com/news/ticket-news/2013/february/print-at-home-details
I used http://www.livefootballtickets.com/ The following site claims to check for scam ticketing sites http://www.scamvoid.com/
The tickets are paper, physical tickets, unless they are offering both. I'd be incredibly dubious. Having just looked at their website there are no affiliations to any travel regulators, and the standard of the site is appalling, I wouldn't use that company in a million years mate.
Bought them through Icon Sports Travel, paid 440 euros and that includes a Club wembley seat, hotel stay and a free programme.I spoke to the MD on the phone and bought them with my credit card (just in case). They are an official partner of club wembley. God I hope they are legit.
If you paid CC at least your money is safe. I'm sure you can check a list of official Club Wembley sellers somewhere mate.
I wouldn't touch it with a 20ft barge pole. There's more than enough time to send a paper ticket out. If it were a valid site it would surely include the option to post the ticket out to you.
Have you spoken to club wembley? Got mates and family waiting in the wings? I wasnt going to share this yet coz selfishly i wanna try and sort family and friends out but seeing as its you and they've all been made aware https://clubwembley.wembleystadium....EventsCalendar%2f2014%2fCapital-One-Cup-Final
Please note that due to essential maintenance, the Club Wembley members’ website is currently unavailable. Bookings for restaurants and ticket/package purchases will resume when the website is back up and running on Friday 7 February. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Exactly my man, bracing themselves for a rush Safc are supposed to announce phase 3 or lack of the morra
I hope you get the tickets ok, but I'd be very worried about a legit company having such a very basic website. The big killer for me though - would a genuine Wembley partner be selling tickets for the CAPITOL one cup final? Typos can happen but I think wembley partners would have their sites checked. It all looks very amateurish. I'd check how they spell it on that email and if it has the same mistake I'd be straight onto them for a refund. Good luck with it tho.
Safc are supposed to announce phase 3 or lack of the morra[/QUOTE] Where have you heard this? I thought the announcement was after Feb 15th deadline for ST
I was told on the phone yesterday that there'd be an announcement in the coming days regarding phase three in the event of any tickets remaining.
