Given the current position of being 13 points clear of trouble with 11 games in hand and 5 God-awful teams at the bottom I am prepared to go out on a limb and say that we are staying up! That being said who do you think will be exchanging positions come May? Persoanlly I thought that Wolves and Blackburn would stay up but given how dreadful Wolves were against Fulham I reckon they are in as much danger as anyone. I think that Wigan and Bolton are dead men walking - Bolton are the worst team I have seen at FCR for a long time and I still think that QPR could join them given their tough upcoming run of fixtures. Coming the other way I reckon Sanits and West Ham with maybe 'Boro getting in through the play-offs. Looking at the Championship table the top half has an awful lot of "proper" clubs and may make staying up again next season a bit more tricky although as ever ILWT. Thoughts?
Ideally I would like to see - Wolves, Wigan and QPR go down. However, I reckon it will be Wolves, Wigan and Bolton. The three that come up will be Saints, West Ham and either Brum or Reading
I'm going to call Wigan, Bolton and QPR to go down. Fulham's a difficult place to go and Wolves are so up and down, but given their squad I think they could pull some results together. Of those that come up, I think West Ham are probably likeliest- and ought to be with the money they've spent. Southampton look like strong contenders, but we saw they had that bad run and I think that could happen again- either Reading or Middlesbrough could catch them as they play both. I think the top six is unlikely to change much, though and that means with Blackpool in the play-offs old Holloway could pull something off there. So I'm going to call West Ham, Reading and Blackpool to come up
Wigan will get beaten Saturday and remain in the bottom 3 and Bolton play QPR and will probably win so at the finish line, for me, its: Wigan Wolves QPR
