Could anyone update me on the past weeks events in the Southampton FC world. I went away on Holiday last sunday and have been unable to keep updated. All i know is that we lost to both City and Wigan. Any transfer news/ rumours. Surely we have signed a CB! Cheers
Cortese has resigned and will become a cat walk model in Milan. Adkins has left to start his spritual journey to a temple high in the japanese mountains. Redknapp has become our new chairman with Alan Hansen as manager.
-Lost 3-2 to City, goals from Lambert (sub) + Davis (sub) put us 2-1 up but they came back. JWP started. -Lost 2-0 to Wigan, unlucky really, probably could have won. JWP subbed on, and Shaw on the bench 2 games running. -No signings, but Ramirez, Matty Phillips, and a couple of foreign defenders are rumoured to be close to signing. In other news, Joey Barton is off to Marseille, Modric signed for Real Madrid, Edid Hazard is pure class, RVP scored on his Man U home debut, and there is a lion on the run in Essex.
Oh yeah and the Cortese and Adkins stuff Beef Dripping mentioned. Should have seen it coming, what with the constant Sun Tzu quoting.
Our signing of Messi fell through due to Adkins seeing a lack of potencial for improvement. Jaidi has come out of retirement to "fill a gap in the defence" and lastly Cortese is due to go to court in the upcoming months over reports of smuggling young african boys with the view to insert them in our academy. Blackburn have tried to buy Lambert, Cortese is willing to do a deal as long as it includes a Sunseeker yacht to go with the seats in the dugout. Adkins has decided that he doesn't need a CB as we have Dan Seaborne already, and that pace is overated
