I think most of us expected/hoped for three points today which is why we are all a bit negative. But think of it this way (which is my last hope): We all thought 3 points today. But what about v Swansea? Im sure most would have been happy with a point there? So thats 4 points from the two games. If we can beat Swansea that would leave us with 4 points, just the wrong way around. So alls not lost yet, but its going to be very tough to go and win there. We can hope....for now at least. Anything other than a win v Swansea after todays result will probably leave us with too much to do really.
Swansea away will be a tough nut to crack, but a result would be perfect payback after our opening day fixture. Stranger things can happen - just look at Villa almost getting 3 pts at Everton which would have been a big surprise.
We have to go to swansea & win (draw is no good), the danger is, after Man Yoo we are well & truly cut adrift. Mind the gap.
Sorry Judo, would love to turn the Swans over at their place but it is not going to happen. Maybe if Samba was match fit as well as Remy and Bobby. I will eat my hat if we beat them next week. Mind you, last season I foolishly declared at work that I would run through the streets naked if we beat Chelsea and we did! Sure I can find an edible hat somewhere if required.
If I'm honest I was really expecting a win from both of them. After the penalty miss today they're going to have to do a lot to make up for today. A win against Man Utd will do it though

We needed to win today. We didn't. Harry messed up the transfer window despite breaking all records. It's time to face the evidence that is in front of us. We must all come to the only realistic conclusion that is so obvious to all but the delusional fanatics among our ranks. Sorry! But sadly all to true. Over and out.
Ah yes, very easy to be negative and give up ................ true, it is a lot tougher to fight on. Am I pissed off? Sure. Am I deluding myself .......... Maybe. Will I give up ? Not until it is mathematically impossible.
