Except Shaw, Schniederlin and to a lesser extent Ox, Chambers, Lambert and maybe even Wanyama. Even Walcott went too young and then stayed too long at Arsenal as a bit part player. They all made the right choice financially.
The horrible one liners, annoying positivity and management talk is not for me. To me he is like a bite sized Krueger
I'm with you for the first two because of what they achieved here and did for the club, Fat Pat disappointed me greatly in going purely for the money IMO ( I would've understood better had it been a bigger club and he had always stated he was happy here and the fans adulated him) and VVD and Lovren? well say no more!
Dislike Lovren way more than VVD, simply because at least VVD had the talent to go with the arrogance.
going by the players Pool are going after, the only ex Saint player that will get anywhere near he first team is VVD, maybe Ox if he carries on improving
It's not actually my opinion but something my Grandad (not a Saints fan) used to say a lot and like you say I thought it would br a good one to discuss. Thanks for that Sam/Bolton comparison, found that interesting.
That’s my unpopular opinion sorted then Not joking. Mrs S doesn’t know either. Hang on a minute... it’s Dean Hammond init. Forgot he was a Deano. In my defence, we have also had a Deano coach, full back and centre back
