Do you honestly think that Hull as a club have still feel this weird hatred towards Pearson to the extent that they will resist over the top bids? Genuinely interested because there are quite a few Hull players I wouldn't mind having.
I dislike him from his spell here due to his disrespectful treatment of the fans, the media. He's just a complete and utter bell end. I would think that of him wherever he goes. He's a ****ing cretin.
I'm sure there'll be many bids for some of our players. We're probably in the fortunate position that we don't have to sell. If we do sell then they will only go for the market rate, of which I'm sure there'll be many suitors.
Does Allam's "I won't sell to Pearson because i'm a stroppy child" message still stand? Or will it be one of the many promises he's let you down on?
It depends on what Assem Allam thought the question was. He changed the badge but did he change the Tiger? He applied to change the name this season but after the arbitration decision was it a new application? I won't sell to Pearson but might to Leicester City.
Cheers Foxes. I'm still a bit sad, relegation always sucks, but in a day or two I'll just start looking towards to hopefully a promotion system. Be good to see if you can carry on next season way you've finished. I'll miss my day out in Leicester but some new places to look forward to next season.
Too early to start speculation about transfers - much will depend on existing contracts ... couple of positives for Hull - relegation wage reduction clause plus always a good opportunity to shift dead wood / those not up for the fight ... ... as for Pearson raiding Hull? ... he's publicly stated that our transfer targets were identified at the last window and are still being progressed ... would not have thought that included any Hull players ... circumstances have changed admittedly ... but I still expect to see news on previously stated targets first ...
I think that you will have to pay a decent amount for them as I think you will not be the only ones bidding for them. I am always bad at guessing peoples prices but with the crazy player price inflation lately perhaps 10 mill for the lot. I dont think either has much time left on his contract and with a 50% pay cut coming you know they will want to leave.
Yea I was thinking that, without actually looking up their contract length and thinking they both only had 12 months left on them. Like I said though I am always way off on what players go for.
All the best for next season. Not sure why it is so hard for relegated teams to bounce straight back to the Prem with parachute payments and all, but hope you guys break that mould.
