What was it Fernandes tweeted earlier in the week: "Stadium. Training ground. Moving very very nicely. Transfers in and out moving. Everyone is working Damm hard."

Nothing positive so far this week.

I will be very sorry to see Jamie go. He may not be the most talented, but he does have heart, passion and drive.
All things we are apparently looking for!!!!
Good luck to the lad, but gutted he's going this season, when he would have been an asset.

he said he wants to get players with the right attitude yet gets rid of Mackie and keeps the wasters.

I'd ask for a ST refund if I'd bought one. I really believe we will be lucky not to get relegated.

This is also what HR said a few months ago re Mackie:

“He gives you effort. He runs around. He works hard. He gives you honesty."
“If you had 11 Jamie Mackies you wouldn’t be in this trouble, would you?:"

I did get a ST, and at the moment things are not looking good for next season. Pretty much zero attacking threat.

I think #QPR are about to get 2 possibly 3 approaches for Mackie.

Dave wrote an article on the Mackie transfer request before the official site confirmed it, so he's probably spot on. It wouldn't make sense selling Mackie for under 1m to a promotion rival, when the likes of Norwich/Fulham would probably snap him up for double that.

In what way is Mackie leaving a woeful thing? He wasn't first choice. He wasn't a great impact player. Last season he put a lot of 'effort' in. So what? Let him go and if we get £2mil for him then its a great bit of business considering we bought him for what, 200k?

That profit won't even pay SWPs wages for a year.

Wed be financially better off giving SWP away for free, as well as better on the pitch.

Is everyone missing the point that Mackie wants to leave? Haven't we been piping up about having players who don't want to play for us? Mackie is now one of them, therefore £2mil for the most average player in our squad is perfect by me

He wants to leave because hes somehow stuck behind SWP and Park in the pecking order. I dont blame him for leaving as Id leave too. I blame Redknapp for playing other players who are no better than Mackie and keeping them despite them being on 4 times as much wages.

Yeah I agree with that. Maybe Redknapp feels he can get the best out of those, which in theory, should be much better than Mackie

No, I'm suggesting that 11 Mackie's would not be very good - and I understand thats not what was meant originally. A balanced team with all with the attitude of Mackie would probably be more than the sum of its parts. 11 players with his skill level would have possession of the ball for about 20% of the match.

Like many others here, I would be saddened to see Mackie leave. I cannot understand Harry's logic in keeping wasters like SWP playing ahead of him. Even if you asked Mackie to fill in at right back, he'd try ten times harder than Bosingwa.

I don't think anyone can fault his passion and effort. It should be an example to others. I understand why Mackie has asked to leave. We know his limitations but the positives outweigh the negatives IMO.

He'd be a great strike partner with Remy, much better than Zamora anyway.

I feel like Mackie is exactly the sort of player we should be signing at the moment. He was great for us in the championship the first time round, and can only have improved after gaining some PL experience.

    Harold has broken our club

    Lets be clear about that

All is left is the madness ride but that's QPR and wouldn't have it any other way

I believe TF is a nice bloke but its looking like he may turn into Garth Crooks

Have to say a few months ago I would have disagreed with that comment, but that would be me wanting to support the manager for as long as possible and to give him a chance. But after todays events with Mackie, and possibly Hooper I can't agree more tbh mate!
