Barton's pass straight to Carrick and Faurlin's powder puff challenge and pathetically slow chase back for United's secong goal.

I will concentrate on Faurlin because I respect him as a player. If only we could turn back time in Barton's case.

Faurlin needs to become more cynical. He hasn't got pace so he can't afford to let someone get past him so easily. He is going to have to develop a more ruthless streak.

Kerry, the whole team look and play like lightweights. What happened to the old days of welcoming the big boys to your little home patch. We are way too nice and gentle. We are loosing to many primary tackles and too many secondary balls as well. We need an enforcer especially in the middle. Teams can walk through us.

No, he has to take a share of the blame. Inexcusable letting Carrick brush past him so easily FFS.

Absolutely agree Nuts, where's our fukking pride. Derry should replace Barton, he can't be any worse. I would prefer to go down with a fight with players who give it their all like Derry and Hill than go down with a whimper with the team stacked with overhyped primadonnas. The Chelsea performace unfortunately likes like a one off.

Sorry to repeat myself but as I have said many times Faurlin has no pace and cannot tackle amongst other attributes he lacks.I will agree with many on this site that he plays really well when sides sit back and give us space but as soon as we meet a team that wants to come forward he looks lost.He is out of his depth at this level like so many others of this sqaud.

Hard to blame Faurlin for that 2nd goal imo. Barton's fault...end of!!

Along with Taarabt, Smith and Hill? Might as well just play our Ch'ship side and see how they go

I thought everyone put in a decent shift today except for the two central players, Faurlin and Barton. They pulled the team back on various occasions and of course ignited what led up to the second goal.

Beautiful cross from Taarabt. It was easier to score than miss for DJ!!!
