Is anyone going to the under21 match on the 5th june tickets only a tenner and a fiver for kids and no doubt lallana will get a run out
Nah. I expect Adam will only be thrown on from the bench for the last 20 mins or so. Pearce will want to play the team he's taking to the Uefa U21 championships a week later. These sort of games sound like a good idea, but when I've been to them before, they can be a let-down, unless you are taking kids/someone along to St Mary's for their first match etc. For football purists who like competitive action, it will probably be a waste of time and will be on sky/espn anyway.
In all fairness to Adam, he was probably only ever included because this game is at St Marys. He hasn't featured during their qualifying campagin, so he's hardly going to suddenly find himself on the plane in the final squad. But include him in this friendly to try and sell a few more tickets to us locals.
Its a shame as I reckon he deserves it on his contribuion this season. He is 23 though, so fair enough if his place gets taken up by a younger player with more potential for the England first team.
