Hooper and Ofoe both played the full 90 minutes at St Mary's in a 2 - 0 loss. The team was skippered by Bassong. Is this the start of the Bassong Redemption. We have already had the Bassong Identity.

A few of us watched and discussed the game on the last match thread. Can't say Vadis or Hooper impressed that much really, Bassong was probably actually the pick of the Norwich players <yikes>. I think this was his first appearance of the season, so hopefully it's a sign that he's put his tantrums behind him. I guess once the transfer window shut he had little choice.

The over age players were much of a muchness yesterday.

As for the actual U21, I thought Hall-Johnson looked full of energy. Like a trickier Korey Smith. There's definitely some promising talent in that squad. It's a shame our seniors don't seem to be up for it.

I'd be very surprised if we found ourselves tucking into some popcorn while viewing The Bassong Supremacy (in a Norwich shirt).

It would be great to follow Southampton's example and get the Carrow Rd games streamed live on Youtube.

Not only was it interesting to see some of the older players who are looking to get back into the first team, it was good to see some of the remnants of our Youth FA winners and how they are getting on. First I've had the chance to have a look at their progress.

Hall-Johnson looked sharper in midfield than Vadis O O from where I was sitting.

Hooper looks a few weeks away from being in contention for the first team. Unlike Bassong who was mostly quite assured, some of Hooper's touches were closer to blooper than super.
