Due to other commitments on Saturday night... https://moonwalklondon2015.everydayhero.com/uk/bethan My ticket to see (possibly the last ever) QPR Premiership match vs Newcastle is available Not only will you get to see the world famous RRRRs play their hearts out against the Magpies, you will get to sit next to some illustrious company aka Stan, Roller, Big John...and the nice people in front who do not object to us swearing and crying. PM me if you are interested....Free to a good home, but donation to above cause would be appreciated. PS please also see Stan's thread (coming soon) on the meet up to raise a glass for Brixton R (David) this Saturday before the match
No way I knew after we failed to beat West Ham that we were down and lost interest after that. I am surprised that your walk is not on Sunday.
It sort of is....It starts at midnight at Clapham Common....and we walk through the night. We plan to finish 8-9am on Sunday. As I live 70 miles from London...coming in for the match, and then hanging around afterwards for 6 hrs, is just a bit too much for me (I am no spring chicken)....and my daughter and I have a bit of sponsorship on us...so I do not want to fail. I would not miss it otherwise...as said before on here, I have not "lost interest" in the Rs, I am a lifer...and will be with them in the Conference, if necessary
Nice offer Beth....good luck on Sunday with the walk. Next time we meet up I'll have a contribution for your charity.......
Would love to take this offer, but I'm also busy Saturday turning 50..... so will be busy partying, whatever the result!
Happy birthday Chaz Should have said I truly believe we will win on Saturday...The Rs like to win when I am not there....a great birthday pressie for you Chaz
Bumping...... just in case someone misses this rare opportunity to see the RRRRs win at home, for the only time in the Prem league in 2015 As said free to a good home
Good luck Beth. So the half time think tank will be missing our voice of reason! My son will be missing as well. For some unaccountable reason, he thinks he will enjoy a few drinks with friends more than watching Rangers!
No takers...shame. You miss the opportunity of sitting next to Stan and Roller...and hearing the droll humour and wisdom they produce (and I am actually being very serious here) Will miss that next year. Have a good match you all! I will remain here..eating pasta with my feet up
I shall be thinking of you all, staring at the empty seat and thinking "if only.... if only...." Have a great day out, let's get three points and win back a little West London pride, and - most importantly - let's remember our old mate Brix today.
