If you don't know what tyres are being used in Australia, Malaysia, China or Bahrain yet they're available here: http://bensulleyf1.wordpress.com/formula-1-2013-calendar/

I like what Pirelli have done with the tyre allocations for the first four races..

In 2012, I don't remember seeing a race where the drivers had the Super soft and the hard tyres or the super soft and the medium tyres available for a race.. it was always supersoft and and soft..

And the same goes for the softs, they either went with the supersoft or the medium, never the hard compound...

But I like that Pirelli are using the supersoft with the medium

This means there should be hell of a lap time difference between option and the prime tyres, interesting in the race but also in qualifying!

Ferrari, McLaren, Red Bull, Lotus, Mercedes and a few other teams every now and then use the prime in Q1 to save the option for the race, but from looking at Jerez, all the mid field are looking a lot stronger so does that mean we'll see the options used in Q1 by everyone?

With Pirelli's contribution I think we've got one hell of a good season ahead of us!

As this information is in atleast 3 threads now, should we make this the tire allocation thread for the season?

I too like what Pirelli have done! I'm still waiting for the SS&H some time during the season though.

That would be very interesting! Using the hard compound at the right time would be essential!

Not a fan of Pirelli's decision to bring the supersoft tyre to Melbourne. The tyres will be finished after a few laps, and anyone starting on the supersoft will have to pit early and join Chilton and Razia at the back.

I wouldn't have an issue with it if it was the same for everyone, but most of the top ten will have to start on them or sacrifice Q3, they really need to scrap that rule, there's no sense in it at all.

That's assuming they make it inside the 107%, which I highly doubt.
