    Last night we seemed to see two teams with Chris obviously making some tactical changed at half time.

    Tactical changes -

    He swopped Morrow and Cort at half time so that Cort took the role of clearing high balls (Morrow's normal role) and Morrow took the sweeping job (Taylor's normal role) of cleaning up anything that Cort missed. Williams was giving Morrow a torrid time in the first half but Cort handled him well.

    Chris obviously told the midfield to play the ball on the floor in the second half and to stop panic passing in the air to BWP and Kermit, in the second half, we passed the ball on the floor, kept it far better, created far more and took a lot of pressure off our defence.

    Ratings (1st half/second half)
    Hamer - (4/10, 6/10) Defence seems to have lost confidence with him, a bad throw, a bad kick, a corner that he wouldn't collect .... a nervious display. Second half was better with a very good save and more assured kicking.
    Solly - (6/10, 7/10) Under pressure in the first half as he was covering Cort next to him, back to normal in second half as Morrow's free role gave him better support.
    Morrow - (5/10, 7/10) A torrid time in first half with Williams, the second half better as Cort was taking high balls.
    Cort - (5/10, 7.5/10) Lost in first half as free role didn't suit him, far better in second half and hardly missed a header.
    Wiggins - (6/10, 7.5/10) Under pressure in first half as missed JJ's cover, second half more attacking as midfield gained far more control of the ball.
    N'Guessan - (7.5/10, 7/10) Worked hard, his goal seemed like a cross to me, spent the first half swopping sides with Waggy (10 min on left then 10 mins on the right etc.) Second half seemed to run out of ideas a bit but chased and made things dificult for the Cider.
    Hollands - (6/10, 7.5/10) Worked hard in first half but as soon as he got the ball he just hoofed it up front to nobody in particular, second half was far more controlled in his passing and started to dominate the Yoevil midfield with passing on the floor.
    Russell - (4/10, 7/10) Totally went missing in first half, not sure what his role was but wasn't contributing at all! Second half Chris seemed to give him the disrupter role of getting a tackle in and passing it to a player in red (the Semedo role), this was far more to his liking and played well.
    Waggy - (7/10, 7.5/10) Had his normal game of being far better on the right and chasing anything that moved (Addick's pet dog :)) one occasion in the first half started 10 yards behind Kermit for a ball 'over the top' when Kermit didn't chase Waggy did and forced a 'throw in' from the defender. Second half, with greater control of midfield he was more productive. I do wish he was more consistent with his crossing. Great clearance from the free kick when Yoevil forgot to take a shot after kick being taken sideways<laugh>
    Kermit - (6/10, 7/10) Had an OK first half would harry Yoevil players (as long as they were close) but didn't produce any killer passes to Bradders. Second half was more productive due to our greater control of midfield. Don't think it was his best game for us.
    Bradders MoM - (8/10, 9/10) Worked his socks off all game, NEVER gave up on a ball until it was either cleared or gone for throw in or goalkick. Took is goal very well and was happy to celebrate with North Block :) :)

    Chrissy - (6/10, 9/10) Tactical errors in the first half but had courage to make changes at halftime. I do wish he would use substitutes more but back on track.

    <cheers>

    AH, one of the best reviews I've read of the team's performance...agree with practically every word. I'd give an extra point to Kermit 2nd half as, whilst I agree it was one of his poorer games overall, his nod back for the 2nd and particularly his control for the 3rd were pure class.
