    It appears the answers to our "little and large" striking partnership, or lack of it, has been answered today after these two new faces were spotted on Tyneside.

    A source inside the club added;

    "We're delighted to have a little bloke and a big bloke on board to stick upfront. We like to listen to fans and after hearing time and time again that this is what we need, we've really pulled out the stops to get the largest and littlest lads available. We're sure they'll be able to do a job, they have absolutely no footballing credentials whatsoever but they're little and large so they don't really need any. We can't wait to see their names on NUFC shirts very soon, available to buy from Sports Direct..... Oh, and the NUFC supporters shop."

    Great news I'm sure you'll agree. Who needs Robin Van Persie and Carlos Tevez when you have "Big Barry Cartington" from Meadow Well and "Little Reginald Glassbottom" from Cowpen?

    Willow!!! What a show, hands down my favourite film while I was a young'n!

    The tall lad is supposedly a complete prick! My mates met him out in Durham, he'd recently been on a TV program trying to boost his notoriety in order to get work as an actor, the lads walked up to him and said "Mate, are we in saying you're the tall lad off that TV program?"

    He stood there, stared at them and then said, as if it was some sort of witty retort from Die Hard or James Bond: "Use your ****ing imagination"

    Still, while he's playing for the Toon I'll support him!
