I'm told Sahin to Arsenal is more or less a done deal, he preferred Asenal anyway, but his Mrs only wants to live in London if their forced out of Spain. This has come froma LFC source and an Arsenal one so it seems 90% certain to happen now. Real and Jose (as well as Alonso/Arbeloa) tried very hard to convince him to choose us as we offered Real a better loan offer, and Mourinho just didn't want Wenger to get him. It seems though that Arsenal came back with a more favourable offer to Real on Thursday afternoon, when Ayre thought the deal was wrapped up and was telling journo's this, and then Wenger spoke to Sahin and got him to stall the move to us, which was going to be announced on Friday, until the Song deal to Barca was done, which was rushed through and completed today.
