Two work mates just un followed. They're Rovers fans, which shows it's not only hcafc fans that can see how wrong this is.

It's not wrong. Not wrong at all. It's a matter of opinion. You have a differing opinion to The Doctor (as do I for that matter). That is all, he's not wrong, we're not right, or vice versa.

 

In principle a name change isn't wrong, that like you say it is a matter of opinion.

However, deliberately ignoring the rules and regulations due to his own personal arrogance is wrong.

 

i missed the interview , but i heard the same soundbite after the news - if this isnt out of context then im totally out as far as my support to AA is concerned .

Infact ive not said this before , but my family have worked both alongside and against him in the 90s an early 2000s and at no point have my family who have worked in his circles had a single good word for him .
Even when he rescued the clud the words used were nothing to be cheered about .

 

Can we please stop the Dr Allam thing? I have never ever once heard anyone refer to Dr Collina and he got his doctorate in exactly the same way as Allam. It gives the man an honour he hasnt earned nor deserves and makes his ****ty argument on this seem more credible because of a fancy title.

Erm. He's more than earned it. He's done more for Hull (the actual place) than you or anyone else has on the internet.

 

I'm not sure of the etiquette involving honorary degrees.

Is it not up to the Institute that conferred the honour to provide guidance ?

 

Oh so you get a doctorate for that now do you? And here's me thinking you need to actually study for one. Its only right to call him Dr if you also use the title for everyone else given a phoney doctorate, and people dont do that. Or do you refer to Dr Collina being the best ref of the last generation?

And your statement is wrong. There will be countless people who use the internet who have done more for Hull than him.
