I fail to see how Arsenal vs Palace is of any interest, I was hoping our opener would be shown if only for how entertaining it will be to watch West Ham's new tika-taka football <laugh>

We are hardly on tv compared to others years.
To be fair watching us lately has been rather torturous .
It shows how far down the general popularity route we have fallen.
Not along ago we were nearly everybody s second fav team.

looks like we've slipped in the sky rankings. We're being used to fulfil quota games like vs Hull. Lol

Sky are predicting in November we should be playing decent football. Still that be better then the year and half we sat around waiting for us to play entertaining football when AVB was in charge.

the less we are on tv the better...last year saw 3 defeats to the goons, a thrashing by city, two batterings from liverpool, a 3rd loss of the season to west ham, a second half humilation v chelsea...a loss to newcastle...

might be more saturday 3pm kick offs too

November is smart thinking by Sky.
Villa always leak goals at WHL. Spurs vs Hull Hotspurs.
Everton are always a good game.

Predictably, Scouse Sports are showing Liverpool the most often.

    Some odd choices.

The season's a week old, we're all buoyed by an exciting WC and we want to sit down on a Sunday afternoon to watch.........er, Hull v Stoke? <doh>

We are not all glory hunters Luke. There is no reason at all why Hull v Stoke cannot be a better game of football than Man U v Anybody.

Football snob! :emoticon-0164-cash: I have respect for people who support their local team glamourous or not. <badger>

I take your point, but it was 0-0 last season

1-0 to Stoke in the other fixture.

I realise that Liverpool were entertaining last season but for 10 of there first 13 matches to be televised is surely slightly excessive, add to that they will have 5 guaranteed televised champions league matches before the end of November as well so only 83% of their matches!

Apparently, seeing Alexis Sanchez in action attracts more viewers than any west ham vs spurs match would

Plus all of our preseason matches.<ok>

Combination of three channels, so it gives a false picture unless you put it in to perspective.

Very surprised our game with West Ham isn't going to be shown, one of the main London Derbies will surely get a look in somewhere. Not that it makes a difference to me as I should be getting tickets to that all being well :D
