I obviously don't pay for it and any letter to the occupier goes straight into the bin.

Got one today saying they have opened an investigation on the address.

Is there not a loophole that you don't actually have to have one or am I imagining things?

    Cheeky bastards.

If you own a television, you need a licence. FACT.

It has nothing to do with what sort of channels you watch or whether you watch TV live; as long as your set has the capability to watch the BBC, you are liable to pay.

    You'll get a 50% reduction for a non-colour TV.

You can set up a direct debit at £12.12 per month. Personally, I think we should do away with the licence fee, but the ****s can be ruthless when it comes to getting their money, so you may as well bite the bullet and pay.

It isnt the money mate I just don't think I should pay a tax on a TV.

Do I have to let them into my house legally?

I agree. It should be abolished. We pay for the channels we want to watch. The BBC should be optional. But the ****s know they'd be skint if they did that.

I don't know. But I have just seen half a dozen - yes, I counted - big beefy cozzers dealing with one pissed beggar in Finsbury Park. So them, probably.

Do you use your TV for watching live programmes? If you do, you need a licence.

I still love you, Scan, but I reckon you're being a little bit naughty/
