One just been round, came out with some bullshit about coming in to look around my flat and to see if I was watching TV illegally.

He has as much right to come in my house as a gypo selling Persian rugs so was told to **** right off.

    Politely of course <ok>

Aye, vans full of hot air haha.

Absolute clowns, tried saying he has a legal right to come in blah blah blah. I could get a £1000 fine blah blah blah, he will return with a warrant blah blah blah.

had nothing to say when I asked what his warrant would be based on and whether he was a police office or if the police would enjoy this idiot wasting their time over a ****in TV licence.

He looked like he could of cried.

    They are clowns.

One of my neighbours has moved to Portugal, but decided to just leave his house here empty for now, with the market being crap.
He's been hassled by the TV licence bods for nearly 2 years & they're now taking him to court, they came round the other week & took a photo of his house with a satellite dish on it - as evidence. Shame they took the photo of next door like <laugh>

They won't give up though, so you might as well just buy a ****er you tight twat <ok>

Ive gone 10 years without paying one ever, good luck to them.

I live in a second floor flat. Chances of getting any evidence are zero. I hardly watch TV anyway, who the **** does when we have the internet and 100mb speeds <laugh>

TV licensing .. GRRRRR have to pay it despite it is an utter bull**** serving big cats and some ****phile in BBC .. it cost bloody more than other countries in Europe.. yet the return is not better that what the other gets

in France it cost less, bcz public channels do shows ads but not within shows (which is annoying) but in between them, just enough to go have a wee or prepare a drink or some snacks, but at least it reduce the amount of TV licensing we need to pay .. i expect this money to go for shows that is more cultural not some stupid shows i can see in ITV , shows like dancing with the star is better to be sponsored by ads in ITV than our public money tbh .. i rather my money goes supporting some local artist or some cultural programmers than stupid dancing with the stars.

Bailiffs aside, they're the biggest set of ****s in the country. They get £20 commission for every person they catch, so there's no ****ing wonder they're eager to get inside your house. One came to my house once when I still lived with my parents, and I asked him if I could ring his superiors to clarify if he was who he claimed (when I already knew full well he was). I then spent twenty minutes chatting **** on his mobile to his boss, before simply shutting the door in his face. I don't think he was best pleased.

Also, you can usually spot a licence inspector a mile off - film them and they usually **** off. I'll never pay for TV.

For most cases I think it is but there's some confusing rule where for rented houses such as mine where each person is considered independent or something

I think they just make up rules to suit themselves tbh... complete bullshit... only thing I watch really is MOTD and that is ****, not paying 100 odd quid for that. They need new pundits for a start - but that's a whole other topic <laugh>

I used to live with a nurse who never paid hers. Every other Saturday morning they would park up outside & ring the buzzer. Being in a second floor flat, I would often open the window & glance down at the lady with the clip board before retiring back to bed for the rest of the sleep in. Always makes me laugh looking back.

Same in my first year when we were in halls. 6 of us share a floor kitchen and living room but you had your own bathroom and bedroom. Still had to get our own tv licence. Disgusting.
