Even against an average looking Boro attack, he looks a fraction of the player he was. Mistakes, strugling for pace, low on confidence, obviously unhappy in his play and a shadow of his former self. Sad to see and almost agonising in anticipaction of his next contribution. Having said that, he is probably considerably richer than he might have been as a better player.

yes i agree Turner is only a shadow of his former self but his bank balance will have grown over the past 3 years. He was to blame for M'Boros equaliser last night and only gets a game nowadays when Wes Brown is injured. Now they have the Greek tragedy Kyriakos who knows how long MT starts will last. On the plus side MT only has one more season after this one and he can go where he likes. I blame Duffer Duffen and Steve Bruce myself.

I might be misreading it, but I think he'll be looking on the knee injury as a more likely cause of his decline than his decision to sign for Sunderland.
