According to Steau website Tucudean has had his contract cancelled. http://dlvr.it/C5B3y4 http://www.steauafc.com/en/
Reza and Tucudean. 2 examples of players we don't want but now stuck with because of the network . (Though I like Reza personally) Is that Us further over budget?
I guess this is what happens when you're top of the tree. I'm sure Standard were subsidising some of Bulot, Buyens etc (probably a reason their fans were getting upset). With them out of the picture it's down to us due to our turnover in comparison to the other network clubs. I'm not saying I like it, but I can see where it makes sense in RD's head.
I gather that Standard were unhappy with the transfer fee for Watt, they thought they could have got a lot more on the open market
If Tucudean comes back, I hope he's improved while on loan, as I doubt there will be money enough for yet another striker on top of him and Reza.
I actually didn't think Tucudean was that bad, and glad to have him back, good 4th choice and can replace Maikenok if he's injured
I actually tipped him to be the best of our signings at the time. Boy was I wrong! I would not want him as our 7th choice (I would rather play the likes of Ahearne-Grant and Kennedy). And I cannot see how he could remotely replace Makienok. Different type of player altogether. True, we have no-one else who could play that way, but Tucudean is not the answer. I imagine he will be off to the USA or Asia very soon. He might do alright where the football is slower and he has more space, because he does have some ball skills.
He can't go to another Foreign club until January. It would have to be a domestic loan. If he went to Alcorcon in January .we would have to pay his wages as we are doing with Dmitrovic
