Reading it, it's FORTY people. I really cannot understand how so few people can potentially bring the capital to a halt, and why Unite are so willing for them to do so.

When I did a quick search for buses from Kingsbury tube station to Wembley Stadium I found that the 83, 182 and the 223 would all suit our purposes. Approx 20-25 minutes, but like Beth says, best to allow lots of time. I'm leaving the pub as soon as Corker has settled up with me if there's a strike!

Hopefully that means it will be easy for management to cover most of it and the disruption will be minimal. My mate with connections quite high up in TFL has said as much to me when I asked him to check it out for me. He did say he didn't wanted to be quoted on that though.

SorryCol....182 and 223 do not go anywhere near Kingsbury, as far as I am aware

However you have hit gold with 83 ...which goes from Kingsbury to Blackbirds Cross, to the top of Wembley Park ( isuspect it will then divert down Forty Lane, on match days) as I suspect that the road between the tube station and arena will close...so it will then head to Wembley Central via Forty Lane to East Lane.

But the trip from Kingsbury to Blackbirds Cross will not be at all bad....and if you get off opposite the Brent Town Hall, opposite the Chalkhill estate (do not go in....cause you wont come out), and follow the crowds ...that is about 20 min walk to the stadium

That would be my prefered route...

I know it's an inconvenience for many.........but I'm still supporting the workers !!!!!

It's not as if we have to walk 20 miles a day for clean drinking water like some have to in Africa.

With the tubes working I have the easiest journey. 10 min walk across the park to Watford met then delivered to the door at Wembley

Well, not exactly, it's very tough TBH. A lot of people are getting various infectious diseases and the snakes are making a big problem for the locals. Also a lot of mine fields are moved out of their place. It's not looking very good

I can't do anything other than wish you good luck pal, and I wish that with abundance.

Puts the possible travel disruption in to context.

I was just going on info from the London transport site Beth. Doesn't matter now as the strike appears to be off. Funny you mention the chalk hill estate. I grew up in Wembley and had relatives who lived there. It was a pretty scary place.
