Well I dont agree with the last bit BUT if the VP is an evangelical Christian then he'll be the conduit for neo-cons to enter tge White House.

Can you not see the parallel of dumb asshole president Bush in charge with neo-con VP Cheney giving access to other neo-cons?

i'd work about face here lads

Pence is just a placement by others. DO you honestly think trump sat down with his team post winning primary and say oh **** who will i get.. oh i know my good buddy mike.

no trump was given pence by the real powers that be.

and the neo-cons etc will be telling trump who is in his cabinet too.

don't for one minute think this is not the case.

For all the talk about Trump winning the presidency but losing the popular vote, amazingly enough, nothing in the Constitution gives voters the right to choose their president.

The same argument could be used here, look how many votes the Libdems used to get, but they only had a few MP's. As to Trump let's wait and see if he is evil reincarnated as some would have us believe, or whether he turns out to be just another bent politician who looks after his mates with an eye on his future career outside politics like Blair, etc

Pence is equally wacko as Trump, just in different ways. The main difference is that he has a diplomatic veneer that Trump lacks.

Trump is likely going to be blocked by Republicans and Democrats alike in the legislative bodies. Pence in charge could probably get the Republicans on board.

Personality role Pence will occupy is the Dick Cheney role.

No. It's Jerusalem. Israel has most of its government departments there.
Foreign embassies and diplomatic missions are in Tel Aviv because Jerusalem is divided, Palestinians also claim it as their capital so it's a bit dodgy.

Israel moved it's capital to Jerusalem against the "advice" of the international community. Most foreign countries don't recognise Jerusalem as the capital and refuse to have embassies there. The embassies remain in the old capital tel Aviv.

This is how I see it. We basically have another Bush/Cheney combo although perhaps Trump is a little more astute than Bush ever was. Although both are ****ing incompetent baffoons.

Long time ago. I think almost as soon as Israel was created after they conquered Palestine.

Ahh I see, I thought it was something that **** Netanyahu had done <laugh>

That's as maybe but to all intents and purposes it's more their spiritual capital (as it is with the Palestinians), the officially recognised capital is Tel Aviv worldwide.

It is the de facto capital. It's just that most other countries refuse to recognise it.
