I didnt see any. In fact I had a bit craic on with some Everton fans. They were great imo. The atmosphere at the start was electric. Love seeing the SoL full like that

Everton fans being mouthy and swinging on the Stokoe statue. Deserved what they got. Heard a SAFC fan got stabbed too. Wouldn't be surprised with the bindippers.

Very sad to hear but no surprise, I was walking over the car park to the Eat Stand at 6.30 and a group came past me, singing, goading and heading towards the ticket office, now why would they be going there? All there was was Sunderland fans buying tickets, oh, penny dropped.

Like most gangs of big mouthed cowards I just kept on walking through the middle of them, lots of sideways glares came my way but nothing else.

I walked past there on the way out and there was nothing - actually come to think of it Everton were still in the ground at this point so if there was trouble there must've been some idiots waiting for them getting out - I applauded them and shook a few Everton fans hands and they were fine...

BUT - I have been to Everton a few times and seen them at our place a few times and have to agree they can cause trouble (not all but some)

I did comment to my mate as we were going past the Everton away fans going into the ground that the police had totally underestimated this one. Was on the park and Ride with loads of Everton fans and although I was wary of my valuable in my pockets (joke) they were no bother at all. They had some young lads who were singing and shouting, fair play to them? Swing on Stokoe! <grr>they should be swinging from rafters!

I saw a bit of a scuffle near the statue but the cops quickly broke it up, there were Sunderland fans and Everton fans trying to get at each other but the police had their vans tactically positioned and it stopped them. Morons

You have to remember that the vast majority of the Everton have probably never been out of Liverpool in their lives and took advantage of the free transport that was supplied for them...Going by past history, Everton would have been hard pushed to sell 2,000 tickets without that..

when vaughan scored that own goal 2 everton fans were sat about 15 feet away from me (north stand lower) celebrated but were quickly removed by the stewards, marched past the east stand and put in the everton end, but they were verbally abused and sadly they were spat at, don't know if anyone else on here saw this

Yes I saw this, It got a bit ugly, and if the stewards hadn't reacted so quickly they were heading for a hiding... What the hell they were doing there in the first place is anyone's guess, and in my opinion they should have been escorted out of the ground rather than put in the away end..

Yeah saw that, the younger one took a plastic bottle to the face too as he was ushered round. Thought they were lucky to be re seated as it rewarding bad behaviour, one of the reasons this country is on its arse.

Kicked out of school, never worked, do drugs and commit crime? Have a free house and 500 quid a week benefit to waste on booze and ***s. Have umpteen kids? Here's another 500quid to waste on booze and ***s, may even throw in a car cos how would those kids pretend to go to school otherwise?
