Am I the only one who thinks his professionalism may be a bit on the iffy side?

During the last few weeks we've heard lots of contrasting stories, many of which don't paint Birch in the best light.

For example, there have been quite a few reports of players not being in communication with Birch despite Birch having previously said otherwise.

Birch said he was confident that we wouldn't recieve a points deduction yet it seemed pretty likely that we would and so we did.

He is now putting in a plea for creditors from the 2010 administration to contact Portsmouth with their contact details but surely as administrator that is something he should have these details anyway. Furthermore, surely he knew that giving the creditors from 2010 an opportunity to vote on the new CVA would be crucial, so why didn't he invite them to the CVA meeting? This is at best incompetence at worst dishonest as perhaps it was done as he knew they wouldn't have voted in favour.

He's also recently said that he doesn't think Kanu's claim against the club has a leg to stand up on which again could be exactly like when he said he didn't think the club would get a points deduction so forgive me if I'm skeptical.

There are quite a few examples too which I can't recall of the top of my head.

I think he was banking on Baker Tilly being able to vote for the 2010 creditors as they are handling the investigation and the CVA for the creditors.

The other 2 things regarding Trevor Birch is that 1) he did the due diligence for CSI and 2) he was appointed as Auditor, but no accounts were filed, I understand, since 2008/9.

If I understand these correctly, the football creditors from 2009/10 have not yet been paid (in part or full?) so Kanu probably is owed a lot more than Birch is saying.

As far as the current players go, Birch said he appointed be an agent to find clubs for the senior players - no reason not to believe Greg Halford, who has never been anything other than honest with the fans. They must be feeling so demoralised.

Another thing, why waste time fighting the 10 point deduction? There's kinda more pressing issues at the moment.

Furthermore, according to a comment on the News website, it was reported in the News yesterday that Halford said that NONE of the senior players had been in contact with the administrator! Seriously, what is he playing at?! He also seems to be scare-mongering all the blood time, it's like stop scare-mongering in the press and get something done ffs.

As I understand it, the 2010 creditors were represented by Baker Tilley who voted in favour of the new CVA - I assume on the basis that even 2% of 20% is better than nothing. Legally, they did not have to ask all the 2010 creditors. However, the FL has its own rules.

However, quite frankly -10 points is surprisingly light and, as I have said elsewhere, is the least of our worries. I really fear that the axe is about to drop and our club will be no more.

I still think Birch's action have been a bit iffy recently, and he seems to be working for Chanrai and just humouring the Trust imo.
