I assume he's injured at the moment, but The Sun has him wanted by Genoa and Atalanta in Italy come the end of the season, when he can go on a free, contract up. By that time he will have spent 3 years at the club, and half a dozen decent crosses aside, made virtually no impression. Seems to have been injured on a regular basis too. I always have the impression that the talent is there, but the concentration and intelligence certainly isn't. "I wandered lonely as a cloud....." To be fair, his contribution has been outstanding compared to Bloody Luke Young.
Great cross for Jamie's header against City! One of the few high lights over the last 3 seasons. But you are basically right. He will shine at another club.
Was beginning to find form on the left hand side of midfield until he got injured. Too injury prone, I would have no problem letting him go.
Get rid: Good teams are made up of players who play regularly and consistently, two adverbs that do not apply here.
He is a good enough for the PL, and young enough, but his injuries make him a ? for me. Certainly not one of the first ones I would want out, and I don't think we should be moving out too many players yet again this summer.
His contract is up. Would you renew it? I don't think he's as good as Yun at left back, and I certainly prefer either Hoilett or Phillips on the LW. So probably a bit part player, but an expensive one - I'd like to see some youngsters given the replacement roles for a change.
Like I said he's a maybe for me, there are older players also out of contract this summer I believe, most of whom I hope leave before Traore. I don't know that Yun is a better LB just from the one full game I seen him play. A renewed contract means Traore will not necessarily remain expensive, he's still young, can play both LB or LM and his injury problems are unfortunately mirrored or worse, by the 2 you name. Didn't rate Phillips on the left side either, in fact I think both Phillips and Hoilett are better right side.
Add in application and desire too please. And for Heidar Helguson at Stoke, fantastic cross and header.
