...aye it's going to be a tough one for Sven, only really got this season, the pressure is on right from the start, every point dropped will be hurtful, crazy really but there you go, got to get the in's and out's spot on.... still, that's what he gets paid for... think maybe the problem we will have ids the good players like Naughton etc will be snapped up by prem teams, and you couldn't blame the lad for wanting premiership football straight away, we will have a chance yo get the Yak, and those sort of premiership cast offs...so short term planning is what we are going to get... let's prey it works !!!...
I think we should buy Yak tommorow if possible. He will gurantee goals and he will be a big name signing and encourage other players to sign for us Just a thought
Transfer Window open right now then? I'd be disappointed if we haven't/don't bid £5 million for Naughton. You'd think he'd be one of our first priorities, and it's a shame we've pretty much already given up on him. If he goes to QPR it will be a real kick in the balls considering they shouldn't technically be in the Prem. Also heard James Vaughan has signed for Norwich, always liked him, thought we should have got him in January when we had the chance, he was available for 500 grand wasn't he? If the Yak can improve his overall performances I'd happily have him. But I do fear that if we get him - halfway through the season people will be complaining that we still lack the creativity and that Yakubu's being marked out of the game. This transfer window is vital. We need quite a few players and they all need to be a success if we are to be promoted. We have some good players but the squad is very thin once you get rid of the deadwood and the loans go back. We are short in quite a few areas at the moment but we do have money so fingers crossed. In Sven we trust...
Has anything happened apart from the Naughton enquiry? For someone who said he wants to start doing business straight after the last day of the season, it seems very quiet, you would have thought there would have been at least something on the Yak at least by now.
I dont know if Spurs have actually quoted a price for Kyle Naughton or Sven just reckons there will be a big price. QPR have been scared off by the price tag as well so i dread to think what the price tag is
