Right, yesterday I posted a thread about wearing the poppy and all went great until some dickhead went off topic and then the poppy thread was overtaken with bantz. It was me who went off topic, me the dickhead. Lots of saying we should bring in someone like Foyth in January, me included but wonder what Orta and Bielsa are up to, because something is deffo going on. This week we know that Bielsa and Orta went to watch Liam Kitching at Harrogate Town. Kitching was chuffed to bits because he has never spoken to Bielsa or even thought Bielsa would know who he is. I have a feeling we may see one of the U23s drafted into the first team squad to be replaced by one of the loan players. Kitching is only 18 so see him going into the U23s... At the moment the CBs at the club are: Berardi Pontus Cooper Hugo Diaz (loan in Spain) Aapo Halme (U23s) Liam Kitching (Loan Harrogate Town) O'Connor (Loan Blackpool) Oriel Rey (Loan Spain) Pacal Struijk (U23s) The loan players in Spain have not played enough first team footy yet and just getting into the team. O'Connor is playing the highest standard football at Blackpool but not playing regular? Aapo Halme the Finnish wonderkid has only just got back playing after spending his first season sidelined, however he has turned in some great displays for the U23s. Pascal Struijk is the Dutch wonderkid we brought in from Ajax in January and again is doing the business for the U23s. Nessy is registered with the club as a DM but I dont think we won a game any time he was selected. Remember Christianson picked Nessy over Klich and that didnt work out well did it. For me he brings back Kitching to go into the U23s and promotes either Halme or Struijk? OR WE BRING IN FOYTH
As Pontus and Cooper are the only fit genuine CB's we have atm, lets get Foyth and promote one of the u23's. Neither Ayling or Berardi are genuine CB's and Shsughnessy isn't good enough,yet.
A lot will depend on the injury situation of Bamford and Izzy Brown, if they both return in January then I’d say bring in a top class defender and leave Kitching where he is, or loan him to a better team Hernandez and Roofe are unlikely not to pick up another injury, they both seem a little injury prone,
Dont forget automatic bans due for Saiz as hes on 4 already and we have Klich and Phillips, Cooper on 3
