The transfer window is about 10 weeks away, and no doubt clubs are lining up their wish list. We need a couple of players a defender and a midfielder Caulker & Walker comes to mind, and I would not mind seeing Dembele back in midfield. Any thoughts on who, and where to fit them in.
We need to replace Fotheringham with an experienced midfielder who can genuinely cover for Parker. That is the only need in my opinion. There are of course plenty of likes as well, such as right back and wingers.
1. A right back (primarily so that Hoogland can move into midfield) 2. An 'enforcer' in midfield No names to offer at this time, but starting a prowl! PS An issue that Kit, or whomever, will have is the size of our current squad and the number in it who aren't up to the job - Fotheringham (as Surly mentioned), Zverotic, Voser, Eisfeld ... (others?) or who simply haven't played (for one reason or another) - Chihi, Fazlic, Taggart, Casasola .. (others?). Somehow, some of them will need to be offloaded.
