Think the squad is looking very good now. Getting to stage where 2 very good players for every position which will allow slot to rotate a lot more than he did last year. Not sold on Guehi but everything I read say that stats show he is brilliant ball playing defender. Composed, passes the ball forward, decent pace, great leadership. Think it’s just he’s not dominant in the air, but then vvd is so maybe that covers it. Just guehi reminds me of Gomez at CB. Just not quite tall enough but our transfer team don’t get many wrong so if he comes in then I don’t think he’ll disappoint. Ali / Mama Frimpong / Bradley Vvd / Gomez Konate / Guehi??? Kerez / Robbo or Tsimikas Grav / Endo Mac / Jones Wirtz / Szobo Salah / Elliott Ekitike / Diaz Gakpo / Ngumoha Looks a little short up top albeit Diaz covers all 3 areas and Szobo Wirtz can do a job wide so in terms of resting there are options there. Stephenson only has a year left. He might go. Gordon needs to go, major attitude disappointment Chambers isn't good enough for us but played well when fit. Beck will go. McConnell could be sold off. There's several forwards we would like to loan.
